Traders Connect is the closest competitor to Trada in this comparison set: a cloud copier with wide platform coverage, equity protection on every plan, and per-account pricing at $10 to $15 per account per month, with analytics sold separately as a $29.99 per month Analyzer. Trada is trade-copier and journaling infrastructure sold in flat tiers where the read-only journal, cross-account reports, and automated risk actions are part of the product rather than add-ons.

Traders Connect is available today. Trada is in early access, and the current step is joining the waitlist.

Quick Answer

Traders Connect fits traders who need a copier today, who run accounts on Tradovate or ProjectX, or who hold very few accounts and want to pay per account. Trada fits traders who want the journal, reports, and copier billed and built as one system, who want protection actions enumerated up front including flatten, or whose futures accounts run on DXFeed.

Execution Model

Both products run fully in the cloud with no EAs and no VPS. Traders Connect publishes an average copy speed of 20 ms, offers auto symbol mapping, custom magic numbers and comments, and a risk multiplier, and sells an optional Dedicated Environment, described as your own PC in their cloud on dedicated hardware, for $30 per month [1] [2].

Trada runs every platform through one container orchestration with per-platform isolated instances, so a rate-limit or failure on MetaTrader does not touch cTrader or Rithmic. MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 run under Wine in Docker on Linux since they expose no public API. Copying runs in real time from one master to N receivers over WebSocket. Each copier handles one market type, supports per-receiver symbol mapping and symbol filters, and can be scheduled with working hours per copier, including optional auto-close at period end. The copy-trading layer covers the sender-and-receiver model in more detail.

Traders Connect covers Tradovate and ProjectX, which Trada does not. Trada covers DXFeed, which Traders Connect does not list. If your futures accounts specifically run on Tradovate or ProjectX, Traders Connect reaches them today and Trada does not. Trada maps symbols per receiver across broker naming conventions, so the same instrument copies correctly between brokers that label it differently. Copiers built around the futures terminals draw the line in a different place again; Tradesyncer is the clearest example.

One limit worth stating plainly: on MetaTrader 4, Trada connects as a receiver and for journaling, not as a copier source. If your master account is on MT4, it cannot originate copies. MT5, cTrader, TradeLocker, DXTrade, MatchTrader, NinjaTrader, Rithmic and DXFeed all work as sources.

Risk Controls

Traders Connect ships equity protection with every plan and monitors accounts around the clock, stating that the moment equity falls below your set limits, they step in [2]. Its published pages do not enumerate the exact automated actions taken on trigger, so confirm the mechanics with them directly. The copier also logs every copied trade in real time, including executions, errors, and status [2].

Trada defines protections per receiver on two horizons: Daily Loss or Profit thresholds in percent or dollars, reset at 00:00 UTC, and Overall Max Account Loss or Profit measured from the balance when the receiver was added. The actions are explicit: Send Notification, Stop Copier, Flatten Account, and all enabled actions fire together on trigger. Reverse Positions is auto-disabled on prop-firm accounts by default. The copier logs every operation, success, failure, and protection trigger. Trada enforces the thresholds you configure; it does not interpret any firm's rules for you. The prop firm compliance guide covers why account-level enforcement matters.

Journaling and Reporting

Traders Connect sells analytics as TC Analyzer, a separate product at $29.99 per month per workspace, covering portfolio ROI, win rate, profit factor, equity growth, and profit and loss heatmaps [1]. It is a real analytics layer, priced on top of the copier.

Trada includes journaling in the same system that does the copying. Every closed trade auto-syncs from connected accounts, execution data is read-only, and trades can never be typed in or edited. Annotation covers strategies with checklists, star ratings, emotional state, and notes, plus daily, weekly, and monthly period journals. Cross-account reports include a Health Score from 0 to 100 built as an equal average of six published sub-scores: Max Account Loss, Profit Factor, Win Rate, Reward-to-Risk, Expectancy Quality, and Winning Days. There is no separate analytics subscription. The reports and Health Score layer shows how the six sub-scores combine.

Under about four accounts on the forex side, Traders Connect's per-account model can come in lower than Trada's Starter tier. Above that the flat tiers pull ahead, and the gap widens once you add $29.99 for Analyzer. Their separate Futures product changes the math again for futures-heavy books. Duplikium prices per account too, from 9 EUR, and works through the same arithmetic from a different starting point.

Who Should Pick Which

Pick Traders Connect if you need a copier today, you run accounts on Tradovate or ProjectX, or you hold very few accounts and want to pay per account.

Pick Trada, once it opens, if you want journal, reports, and copier billed and built as one system, you want protection actions that are enumerated up front including flatten, or your futures accounts run on DXFeed. Trada is not generally available yet; joining the waitlist at trada.io is the current step. If your workflow is built on Telegram or TradingView signals rather than your own trades, Copygram covers a different job entirely.

Where Traders Connect Is Stronger

Traders Connect is live now and Trada is not. Its platform list includes Tradovate and ProjectX, which Trada does not support. It publishes an average copy speed of 20 ms [1] and sells a Premium tier positioned for high-frequency setups; Trada publishes no execution-time figure and has no equivalent tier. Per-account pricing is cheaper at very small account counts. It publishes an economic news calendar with its plans, and the Dedicated Environment option gives resource isolation on dedicated hardware that Trada does not sell.
