Quick Answer

Duplikium fits traders who need a copier working today, who connect through FXCM, LMAX or TradingView, or who run account counts in the hundreds where degressive per-account pricing gets cheap. Trada fits prop-firm traders running multiple funded accounts across forex and futures platforms who want loss thresholds that stop the copier and flatten positions on their own, and a journal built from the same connection that does the copying.

Execution Model

Both products run in the cloud. Duplikium states that everything is set up in the cloud with nothing to download or install, and it claims an internal latency of 1 to 3 ms across 4 server locations [2]. It supports multi-master and multi-slave copying, pending orders, partial close, and reverse trading [2].

Trada runs every platform through the same container orchestration. MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 have no public API, so Trada runs them under Wine in Docker containers on Linux. There is no Windows VPS to rent and no per-user terminal to maintain. Each platform integration runs as an isolated instance, so a rate-limit on MetaTrader does not touch cTrader or Rithmic. Copying is real time from one master to its followers over WebSocket. One copier pairs 1 sender with N receivers, and each copier handles one market type, so forex and futures never mix inside a single setup.

Architecture matters more than a headline latency number, and execution speed is unlikely to be the deciding factor between the two. What decides it is platform coverage and what happens when a loss threshold is hit.

Duplikium's list leans toward broker-side and institutional connectivity, including FXCM, LMAX, and TradingView signal input. Trada's nine platforms track where prop firms actually issue accounts, including the futures side with NinjaTrader, Rithmic, and DXFeed. Trada also maps symbols per receiver, so XAUUSD on one broker can copy to GOLD on another, and applies per-copier symbol whitelists or blacklists.

Duplikium's published platform list as of August 2026 does not include TradeLocker, MatchTrader, Rithmic, or DXFeed. If your funded accounts sit on those, confirm current support before relying on it.

Risk Controls

Duplikium supports stop loss and take profit on copied orders, offers an Account Protection feature described as protecting your equity in case of emergency, and provides blacklist and whitelist trade filtering with advanced risk settings for trade size per slave or per group [2]. Its published pages do not spell out which automatic actions Account Protection takes when a threshold is hit, so check that detail with Duplikium directly.

Trada's protections are defined per receiver and act on their own. You set Daily Loss or Profit thresholds in percent or dollars, reset at 00:00 UTC, and Overall Max Account Loss or Profit thresholds measured from the balance when the receiver was added. When a threshold trips, every enabled action fires together: Send Notification, Stop Copier, Flatten Account. Reverse Positions is auto-disabled on prop-firm accounts by default. Every operation, success, failure, and protection trigger is written to the copier log. Trada enforces the thresholds you configure; it does not interpret any firm's rules for you.

Journaling and Reporting

This is the widest gap between the two products. Duplikium's features page describes copying, filtering, and account protection, and mentions no journaling, analytics, or reporting layer [2].

Trada journals every closed trade automatically from connected accounts. Execution data is read-only, so trades can never be typed in or edited. On top of that data you can annotate with strategies and checklists, star ratings, emotional state, and notes, keep daily, weekly, and monthly period journals, and read a Health Score from 0 to 100 built as an equal average of six published sub-scores: Max Account Loss, Profit Factor, Win Rate, Reward-to-Risk, Expectancy Quality, and Winning Days. If you journal in a separate tool today, the trading journal is the part of Trada that removes the export step entirely.

Pricing

Duplikium charges per account, and each master and each slave counts as one paid account [1].

Annual billing works out to roughly two months free. The practical math: at Duplikium's 9 EUR per account, ten accounts run about 90 EUR per month, and prices per account fall meaningfully only at high volume. Trada's Pro tier covers ten connected accounts at $74 per month with the journal and reports included.

Who Should Pick Which

Pick Duplikium if you need a copier that works today, you connect through FXCM, LMAX, or TradingView, or you run account counts in the hundreds where degressive per-account pricing gets cheap.

Pick Trada, once it opens, if you run multiple prop-firm accounts across forex and futures platforms, you want loss thresholds that stop the copier and flatten positions on their own, and you want the journal generated from the same connection that does the copying. Trada bundles the copier, automated risk actions, and a read-only journal into one system. It is not generally available yet; joining the waitlist at trada.io is the current step.

Where Duplikium Is Stronger

Duplikium has real advantages worth stating plainly. It is live and has operated for years, while Trada is still in early access. Its connectivity reaches beyond retail prop platforms into FXCM, LMAX, and TradingView. It publishes a specific internal latency figure, 1 to 3 ms; Trada publishes no execution-time number, so the two cannot be compared directly on speed. Its prepay model lets you pay per day with no subscription, which suits short-lived challenge accounts. And at very high account counts its degressive pricing undercuts flat tiers.
